The 1st Annual Senior Night was held on April 26, 2013 at Copper Hills High School 's Garrison Field to honor the team's fifteen 2013 graduates.  CHHS Principal Todd Quarnberg was there to present certificates of achievement and give handshakes and hugs to the players.  We are grateful for his support of our lacrosse team through the years!  Also on the field were coaches Matt Evans and Scott Park.  We are so grateful for their dedication to our program and for they work & the time they put into growing great players, as well as a great team. The players received hand-carved,authentic style, mini lacrosse sticks to remind them of the spirit of the game and the legacy they leave behind them.
As part of the festivities, family and friends were invited to write a short tribute to their senior which was read as the player received his senior gift.  The tributes can be read below. (missing info will be updated soon.)
Many thanks to the parents who contributed to this successful Senior Night, especially to Tangee Sloan- our amazing Team Mom!

#4, Jacob Clayson, Defense

#5, Ian Wendelboth, Midfielder. Ian was born a natural athlete and has always had a sense of adventure. During high school he has excelled in hockey, golf and just in the last few years, lacrosse. Ian's future plans include enlisting in the Air Force and long rides on his Harley. He has always made us proud with the many accomplishments he has made throughout his life.

#6, Tyson Heaps, Face Off, Midfielder.

#8, Jake "Jorge" Christenson, Face off, Attack, Offensive Midfielder.  Jake has played Lacrosse for the past 7 years and loves the sport! Jake stands out on the Lacrosse field, literally, with his size and cat-like reflexes. Jake will miss playing the game. Jake has joined the United States Navy and will leave for boot camp this fall to begin his service to our great Country. Jake, we are so very proud of you and love you!!!!!

#11,  Mayson Skadburg, Defense, Long Stick MidfielderMason is known by many to be funny outgoing and always a gentleman.  Whatever he is doing he always gives his hundred and ten percent. Family and friends and lacrosse are very important to him. For the past two years, Mayson has been on the Division 1 Varsity team for long stick midfielder. He cherishes his relationships with his coaches and teammates he hopes to go to SVU or Weber State this fall to continue playing lacrosse. He hopes to be a coach someday for lacrosse . His mom and family are very proud of him and just love him.
#13, Shants Edwards, Goalie.  Shants has only been paying lacrosse for two years and has developed a great passion for the sport.  From spending countless hours bouncing a ball around the house to assisting with coaching young new players, he has dedicated himself to this sport more than any of his interests.  If he isn't playing for a college team next year he plans to be an assistant lacrosse coach.  His parents are incredibly proud of him!

#15, Hunter Coleman, Defense.  Hunter Coleman is an outstanding young man with tremendous character and integrity.  On the field he is highly competitive, in his personal life he is highly motivated, and in his family he is an excellent example for his younger brothers and sister.  Hunter will leave on an LDS mission later this summer and then return home to attend college and play lacrosse.

#16, Brandon 'B' Butters, Midfielder.  He is quick with picking up those ground balls and once he starts running not many can keep up! He is 'Superfast'! With his 'lax bro flow' flipping out the back of his helmet, and his 'crafty' footwork, he is always fun to watch on the field.  When off the field, Brandon enjoys going to the sand dunes in both Utah and Idaho with his family and friends where he consistently will out jump them all in distance.  He also has an amazing sense of humor that sneaks up on you so fast you can never stay upset with him since he will have you laughing instead. Thank you Brandon for being YOU!

# 17, Brayden Ellis, Midfielder.  Son of Trina and Rich Ellis, Brayden has been playing Lacrosse for the last 3 years, during which time he has acted as one of the team captains. He loves the game of lacrosse and hopes to continue playing in the future. He has been on the honor roll all through high school but is still planning out his future career options. Brayden is planning on serving an LDS mission around December but looks forward to spending lots of time with his friends before he leaves.

#18, Anthony Chavez, Defense.  Anthony is a awesome young man. He has beautiful eyes and a great smile and his family is very proud of him. He is a good friend to all. He is hard working and is always willing to help a friend in need. This year is his first playing Lacrosse and he has become quite good at it. He hasn't quite decided on what to do in the future but we know he will be great at whatever he does.

#20, Jacob Blankmeyer,

#25, Spencer “Tony” Smith, Goalie.  Tony found lacrosse when he was 14 & discovered the meaning of life.  Much of what he does, on & off the field, is to facilitate his love for, and participation in, lacrosse.  He is totally dedicated to the sport and to his team.  He currently holds the record of the most saves among Division 1 high school goalies in Utah.  Spencer is a very talented and fun young man who enjoys helping others.  He is planning to serve an LDS mission this fall and will return to lacrosse in 2016 as a goalie for Southern Virginia University where he has an academic scholarship waiting for him.

Although he hasn't quite decided what he wants to do in the future, we know he will succeed in whatever path he chooses.
