Grizzlies are encouraged to attend the memorial for Matt Jungemann on Thursday, March 28 at 1:00 pm in the auditorium at Juan Diego Catholic High School wearing their Copper Hills golf shirt. 

Remembering MattJungemann

 

TheJuan Diego community and Juan Diego Boys Lacrosse mourn the loss of our son,brother, classmate, friend and captain Matt Jungemann and are grateful for theoutpouring of love and support at this difficult time. We are gathering for aprayer service and memorial honoring Matt on Thursday March 28 at Juan DiegoCatholic High School and welcome members of the greater lacrosse community toattend. The service is at 1:00 pm in the auditorium at JDCHS, located at 11800South 300 East in Draper.

The family has expressed that it would bring comfort and honor his memory iflacrosse players from other teams and programs who knew or played against Mattwear their team jerseys at the service. There will be a light dinner receptionto follow in the Commons at JDCHS.

Funeral services have not yet been determined but are expected to be at GraceLutheran Church in Sandy.
Donations in lieu of flowers will go to help the family. An account in Matt'sname has been set up at Juan Diego, and at Wells Fargo and America First banks.Donations also may be dropped off at the JDCHS Main Office, or made online .

Copper Hills Grizzlies

2012 Record: 8-10 (1-3)
2012 Playoffs: Lost to Judge in First Round
2012 Conference: 4th

After an 8-10 season and a first round playoff loss to Judge, Copper Hills is looking forward to getting back on the field. Despite losing six seniors, one of them being Second Team All-State Defensemen Tyler Evans, Head Coach Matt Evans is confident in his new team.

“I am looking for a few players to stand out this season,” said Evans. “Scott Park comes back with Varsity Defense experience as well as playing through the off season.”

Senior Goalie Spencer Smith will be back in net for the Grizzlies.

Kicking off 2013!

The Copper Hills Grizzlies are kicking off the 2013 Lacrosse Season with their Annual Alumni Game on Thursday, March 7th at 4:30 pm at Sunset Ridge MS.  All players, past and present, are invited to grab their gear and come play some lax!  

The Annual Alumni Game will be followed by a team dinner at Copper Hills High School cafeteria at 7 PM for players and their parents.
